So I got a bit behind on the blog.... It's been a little crazy. Here is the quick make up with the important details :)
First, we got the privilege to receive tickets to March Madness for Jon and Amy! I couldn't believe how nice they were to just give them to us! So grateful, it was so fun and Eric was in heaven! They gave us tickets to 2 sessions, which ended up being 4 games, can you say lucky! It was such a fun atmosphere!
Everything is bigger in Texas right? Well, the rain sure is! I walked out of work one day and this is what I found (movies below). I have never been in a rain storm like this! It didn't help that girls at work were telling me how cars can get washed off the road in even just a couple inches of water and how there are floods all the time and roads get closed down because of flooding. Needless to say I was a little terrified! But it was cool to see :) We were stuck in the parking garage for like 30 minutes and then a sweet girl from work followed me home in case my small car didn't make it. All was well though.
Easter! Eric and I got invited over by some of our favorite friends, Mike and Cara Orton. We had dinner and hung out. Cara even put together a Easter Egg hunt! We did it in teams, boys agianst girs of course. Girl won :) We did it in the dark after they had put baby Libby down to sleep, that made for an interesting challenge. We were running around like little kids again, so funny. To bad the Orton's are leaving us for Houston. Lame, but we are so lucky to have met such amazing friends here! We will definitely be keeping in touch since I see Cara multiple times a week!
