Ski weekend at Eagle Point

This weekend we went to Pat’s condo down in Beaver, Utah and got a perfect day of skiing at Eagle Point.  Fresh powder from the night before, hardly ridden runs, no lines for the lifts, beautiful weather, it wasn’t even that cold, and great friends! The conditions were perfect and the boys got lots of good boarding in while Kristen and I took the more scenic routes :)

Ragnar Del Sol

Ragnar Del Sol!!!

Our first Ragnar of 2012! We went down to Arizona to run the 200.5 miles from Wickenburg to Tempe on a twelve-man team, this was Eric and Leslie’s first Ragnar and they loved it! It was such great weather! The day runs were pretty hot, this course had early night gear rules (reflective vest, headlamp, and tail light), night gear started at 5pm and I sadly got to enjoy all of my runs in my night gear.

We were the second van and this was a way fun race! We got to enjoy some great indoor sleeping, first, was in a community center and Eric and Leslie were able to snag us some sweet gymnastic mats so we didn’t have to sleep on the hard floor like all the other people, and second, we got the luxury of being close enough to go sleep at Leslie’s for a few hours before our 3^rd legs, it was fantastic! Of course we didn't make it without a few bumps. We forgot the reflective vests so the night before we had to scramble up some of those. We encountered a flat tire, put the spare on and had to make it to a tire store before they closed... but that RAGNAR! We finished off with a celebratory dinner at Cheesecake Factory!

2012 means no chocolate for Dani :(

Since Eric had a harder time with the no carbonation then he thought, he decided to challenge me to something that would be hard for me… NO CHOCOLATE! What? Being a Robison means that Chocolate is your blood, if it’s chocolate it’s on my plate. But he was kind enough to give me an incentive, if I make it one year with no chocolate, I get to choose a vacation to anywhere I want! Of course I had to say Yes! So here goes nothing, I am officially off chocolate. The next day guess who brings home a Twix bar, yup Eric, he’s trying to make me fail! He knows Twix are my favorite! He thought he was so funny and he’s not going to make this an easy task!

Happy New Years!  2011 was a Fantastic year for us! We got engaged, We got married! We started our new life together! We vacationed in Mexico, San Francisco, Las Vegas, St. George, Arizona, and Jackson Hole. We made our first home together and have marked our calendar with new fun activities!

For 2011 we decided to take the challenge of not drinking carbonation. For Eric, who loves his Coke this was a lot harder then he thought! But we successfully made it and right after our midnight kiss he ran to the kitchen a enjoyed his first Coke!
